Overview

The City of Hamilton's Complete Streets Design Guidelines of June 2022, prepared with a WSP project team, a manual for planning and designing streets that balance the needs of all road users. It covers the design process from planning and conceptualization to monitoring and financial considerations; street elements such as the pedestrian realm, cycling and transit facilities, curbside management, green infrastructure and utilities; eight street typologies from urban avenues to rural settlement roads; and intersection types including the urban roundabout. The City's Complete Street Audit Tool is linked beside it.
