The City of Hamilton's table of tree species accepted for planting in the public right-of-way, the counterpart to its park and open space list. Species are grouped by right-of-way context — high intensity urban environments, low intensity urban environments and rural environments — and by full form canopy or small form ornamental tree. Columns give mature height and spread, growth rate, hydro and small boulevard friendliness, salt and soil tolerance, Hamilton survival rate as a percentage, special features, rationale for planting and known pests.
