Section 7.7 of the City of Hamilton Zoning By-law, covering the Conservation/Hazard Land Rural (P7) zone. Its explanatory note applies the zone to lands identified in the Rural Hamilton Official Plan as a key hydrologic feature other than a provincially significant wetland, and to key natural heritage features inside the Greenbelt. Permitted uses are agriculture, conservation, existing single detached dwelling, flood and erosion control facilities and passive recreation. Its regulations turn on existing buildings: a 10% expansion cap, and terms for rebuilding a demolished structure on its former setbacks.
