The City of Hamilton Public Works Department's standard drawings for work around public trees. Two sheets detail tree hoarding for streets and for parks — T-bar posts at 1800 mm, wood nailers, paige wire and snow fencing, and the tree protection zone sign. Two more cover deciduous tree planting with staking, root ball placement, backfill and the reasons a delivered tree is rejected. The remaining sheets set out the hard surface detail hierarchy, from sodded boulevard and open planting beds through raised planters to tree grates.
