City of Hamilton By-law No. 25-095, which its own Part XI names the municipal addressing and street naming by-law. It covers assignment and display of municipal address numbers and unit numbers, property identification signs in rural areas including the Farm 911 emergency access point programme, and the naming, renaming and commemorative naming of public highways and private roads. Schedule A carries the display criteria, including numeral heights, and Schedule B the naming criteria. It amends By-law No. 86-077 and repeals By-law No. 02-312, the rural signage program by-law.
