Section 9.14 of the City of Hamilton Zoning By-law, covering the Shipping and Navigation (East Port) (M14) zone, which its explanatory note places primarily at piers 25 to 27 on Hamilton Port Authority lands north of Burlington Street. Its permitted-use list is shorter than the Port Lands (M13) zone's and leaves out waste processing and transfer facilities, which appear instead among prohibited manufacturing uses. Regulations cover yards abutting a street, office floor area, landscaped area, outdoor storage screening from the Queen Elizabeth Way, and salt and soil stockpiles.
