The City of Hamilton Building Division's water service pipe sizing form for a house containing one dwelling unit, the counterpart to its more-than-one-dwelling-unit form. It sets out Sentence 7.6.3.4.(6) of Division B of the Ontario Building Code, under which a ¾ in. water service pipe serves a house where ¾ in. supply piping in the basement extends to the base of every hot and cold riser and the total hydraulic load stays at 26 fixture units or fewer. A fixture table totals that load and the designer signs with BCIN.

What it covers

  • Part 1 - Hydraulic Load (Fixture Unit Calculation)
  • Part 2 - Sizing of Water Service Pipe
  • Part 3 - Design of Water Service Pipe
