Two City of Hamilton sketch sheets for a streetside patio platform, published with the city's temporary outdoor patio program. SK-1 is a floor plan showing the rim joist, dimension lumber floor joists, solid blocking, a ramp inset into the platform, and the exterior guard post and rail system on any side facing the street. SK-2 is a section through the platform, with curb and road levels, blocking spacing, decking thickness and guard heights. Both sheets cite Ontario Building Code Supplementary Standard SB-7 for the guard.
