The City of Hamilton Growth Management Division's checklist of what a site alteration permit application contains under By-law 19-286. The general list runs from address, site area and owner contacts through past and intended uses, soil volume, start and completion dates, and a control plan prepared by a surveyor, engineer or geoscientist showing contours, soil types, structures, infrastructure, watercourses, wetlands, conservation authority boundaries and trees over 150 mm. Separate shorter lists follow for normal farm practice and for minor agricultural proposals involving up to 500 cubic metres of fill.
