City of Hamilton By-law No. 12-130, to regulate the feeding of wildlife, which its own text says may be referred to as the Hamilton wildlife feeding by-law. It defines feed, food, premises and wildlife, prohibits feeding wildlife, and carves out two exceptions: birds fed on premises the person owns or occupies where there is no accumulation of feces or interference with neighbouring premises, and feral cats in a colony identified for trap, neuter or spay and release. It repeals By-law No. 02-136, the pigeon pests by-law.
