Overview

Mississauga's Environmental Site Screening Questionnaire and Declaration schedule, Form 2808, issued under Corporate Policy 09-08-02 for development applications. Twelve yes, no or uncertain questions ask about current and previous uses, land dedicated to the City, potential contamination from uses such as dry cleaning or gasoline stations, above and underground storage tanks, hazardous building materials, fill, septic systems, wells, Phase 1 ESA and a Record of Site Condition. The owner's declaration, sworn before a Commissioner of Oaths, releases the City and the Region of Peel from contamination claims.
