Overview

The City of Mississauga's draft format for an irrevocable or irrevocable standby letter of credit, laid out for a bank's letterhead, with the City of Mississauga as beneficiary. It provides wording for drawing on demand, automatic one-year renewal unless the bank gives thirty days' notice, partial drawings, and ICC Publication No. 600. A second page, Letters of Credit Format notes, covers Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 banks rated R-1, accepted alternatives such as certified cheques, and the paragraph wording for Transportation and Works and for site plan securities.
