Overview
Markham's Builder Tip No. 99, issued September 2019 and linked from the City's housing tips under the 2024 Ontario Building Code. It sets clause 7(1) of the Building Code Act on by-laws for site fences beside section 11 of the Markham Building Bylaw, then describes 1800 mm steel fencing with 50 mm diamond mesh and 90% opaque screening, the $1,000 administrative fee on an Order, and a plan showing fencing on private property, locked gates and a road permit for City property.
