The City of Markham's information sheet on the occupancy inspection, the last inspection in its residential sequence, requested before any portion of a dwelling is occupied and usually coinciding with the heating and plumbing final inspections. It cites Article 1.3.3.4., Division C, Part 1 of the Building Code on occupancy permits. A provincially qualified building inspector reviews stairs, handrails, guards, wall, ceiling and floor finishes, doors, windows, fire protection, electrical and plumbing facilities, and the building envelope, matched by a reverse-side deficiency checklist.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
