Overview

Markham's Builder Tip No. 68, dated January 1, 2025 and updated to the 2024 OBC, filed with the City's non-housing tips under the 2024 Ontario Building Code. It quotes Article 3.4.4.4., Integrity of Exits, on the openings an exit fire separation may have, scissors and contiguous stairs, fuel-fired appliances, exits used as plenums, and service, storage, washroom and laundry rooms opening into an exit, plus schools.
