Overview

Markham's Builder Tip No. 73, dated January 1, 2025, on where a party wall between dwellings ends at the roof; the City files it with its housing tips under the 2024 Ontario Building Code. It quotes Article 9.10.11.2., Firewalls Not Required, including the continuous protection from the top of the footings to the underside of the roof deck and the gap filled with mineral wool.
