Overview

The City of Markham's Builder Tip No. 105, dated January 1, 2025, the start-of-construction half of the City's infill housing strategy, filed with its housing tips under the 2024 Ontario Building Code. It quotes Article 1.3.5.2. of Division C and section 9.5 of the Building By-Law on notice of commencement, then lists the City's expectations on excavation, fencing, the permit card, shoring, surveys, sewer connections, lot grading, the New Home Report and permit documents on site.
