Markham's two-page Builder Tip No. 91, dated January 1, 2025, on openable windows in apartment suites, filed with the City's non-housing tips under the 2024 Ontario Building Code; its printed heading repeats the title of Tip No. 90. It quotes Article 3.3.4.8., Protection of Openable Windows, on a 1070 mm guard or a tool-released opening limiter of 100 mm, and the exemptions for openings above 1070 mm or sills less than 1800 mm above the ground outside. Its objective explains falls by children from height.
