Overview
Markham Building Standards Department Builder Tip No. 77, dated January 1, 2025 and updated to the 2024 OBC, on water-saving plumbing fixtures in homes, one of the City's housing tips under the 2024 Ontario Building Code. It quotes Article 12.4.1.1., Sentences 7.6.1.6.(1), (3) and (4) on flushing devices and Tables 7.6.1.6.-A and -B, and Sentence 7.2.10.6.(2) on flow-limited supply fittings and shower heads. Its objective cites the Water Opportunities and Water Conservation Act, 2010, 4.8 LPF toilets and 7.6 litre showers.
